What is APOB?

APOB (Additional Place of Business) means any place other than the head office where a seller carries on business under India’s Goods and Services Tax (GST) regime.

For Shiprocket Fulfillment Centers (Warehouses) used by sellers to stock and ship products, it is compulsory to register these premises as APOBs in their GST registration. This is to comply with tax laws and enable easy inventory storage and order fulfillment through Shiprocket’s logistics network.

Get Following Documents from Shiprocket:

Shiprocket NOC
Warehouse Lease/Rental Agreement copy
Copy of utility bill of warehouse/fulfillment center
Images of location

Update GST Registration on GST Portal:

Log in to GST Portal
Go to Services > Registration > Amendment of Registration (Non-Core Fields)
Add the Shiprocket Fulfillment Center as an Additional Place of Business
Upload the required documents and submit the application
