What is APOB?

APOB (Additional Place of Business) is any other place, besides the main place of business, where a seller carries on business activities under India’s Goods and Services Tax (GST) regime. If a seller avails Flipkart’s Fulfillment Services (Flipkart Fulfillment Centers – FCs), they are required to register such warehouse locations as APOBs in their GST registration.

How to Register Flipkart FCs as APOB in GST?

Get the Following Documents from Flipkart Seller Hub:

No Objection Certificate (NOC) from Flipkart
Warehouse lease/rental agreement copy
Utility bill of the Flipkart Fulfillment Center
Photos of the warehouse


Update GST Registration on the GST Portal:

Login to GST Portal
Go to Services > Registration > Amendment of Registration (Non-Core Fields)
Add Flipkart Fulfillment Center as an Additional Place of Business
Upload documents required and submit the application
